POPme was born out of a need in everyone’s life at a very sensitive time. Imagine yourself sitting with us at that virtual table on a Friday in late March 2020. Our company, L10, is at a standstill.
The world is closed in. People need to protect themselves. We asked ourselves: what can we do in this situation? Three days later, on Monday, the POPme catalogue was born: the brand of certified masks and PPE for the protection of young and old.
Soon we found the concept, found the supplier, designed the product; got to work and dreamt up to the future. Everything had to be functional. After a few weeks, here they were. In our hands, we could touch them and they felt like silk. We felt we had created the product that would raise the bar in the industry.
The POPme logo initially came from a union of typography and images: the wording POPme is accompanied by the figure of a person wearing a face mask.
The exponential growth of the brand’s reputation has, however, led to the addition of new products and the consequent obsolescence of the image that accompanies the logo. This has been replaced by the wording POPme in bold type.
Tranquillity, safety, trust: the colour blue is used because it is the colour that is most closely associated with the medical and pharmaceutical world. In fact, POPme is a brand of certified products that is making headway in this very sector.
Matching the POPme mask to the outfit has become a trend.
A trend that helps the company at an unfortunate time in world history and gives our team the right push to continue being creative.
In addition to the new colours, the brand is expanding, adding several new certified pharmacy items in 2021, like one-of-a-kind prescription glasses to correct presbyopia and band aids for all fingers... and all ages.
To date, with POPme we are only at the beginning of a story that continues to surprise everyone.
The first POPme packaging that we made was for surgical masks. The bag wasn’t design of the bag means that it is not just a mere container, but rather a resealable pack so the face masks can be transported in complete safety.
For stores, the inner carton can be used as display: it is a practical box made out of cardboard which becomes a display in one simple step.
To create all the other packaging, an even more green solution has been found: the products are delivered in a cool multifunctional tin box, reuse it an infinite number of times!
Thanks to the use of tin material, the container is safe to place anywhere.
